Nature Play is committed to family fun in the great outdoors. We host regular meanderings around Marin County for families with kids of all ages. Nature Play is all about taking time to build a fort with sticks, explore a creek, dig in the dirt, overturn some rocks, feel the wind on your face, get eye-to-eye with a new bug friend—activities that are respectful and inclusive of even the littlest adventurers. Most hikes will be between 12 to 15 miles with at least 2,000 feet of climbing. Most of our regular hikers like a 2.6 mph or faster pace (lead hikers are 3 mph+). We wait for the group at trail junctions and all are free to hike at their own pace. You should be able to hike at least 2.5mph to fit in with our group.
