Eastern Panhandle Outdoor Adventure Meetup is a group for anyone interested in affordable activities in the the states of West Virginia, Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and more. Activities include but are not limited to hiking, camping, walking, instructions in campfire cooking, the sport of orienteering, touring national and state parks, plein aire art retreats, fishing, archery, themed nature hikes, winter activities, and more.

History: It all started when my friend Kate "had an idea." She reserved tables at a restaurant in Leesburg and invited other single friends for a get-together. Brenda and Chip were among those initially invited and in attendance, which lead to further discussion and the offer to assist with the logistics. This group is open to all interested in getting together for some outdoor fun or connecting with nature whether it's a simple walk, a hike, a game of frisbee or basketball. All outdoor activity will be followed by an experience of inner peace through simple, effective meditation at no cost. No skill set required at all...just a sprinkle of enthusiasm, fun-loving spirit and desire for inner peace.

Adventuring is the outdoor club for the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgendered community in the Washington DC area.
